Inbox

The email client for your Resend account, built on Inboxes.

Inboxes is in private beta

re:’s Inbox runs on Inboxes, a Resend API that is still in private beta. Access is granted per account, at Resend’s discretion. The API may change before general availability, and the app is updated to keep up.

How to get access

  1. Open the Inbox tab

Without access, it shows No access to Inboxes and what changes once it’s enabled.

  2. Tap Request access at Resend

It opens the Resend dashboard at Settings › Labs, where you request early access.

  3. Wait for it to be enabled

re: checks access every time you open the app. Once Resend enables it, the Inbox shows up without an app update.

With access but no inbox created, the app shows No inboxes in this account. Create the first one in the Resend dashboard.

What you can do

  • Threads. Grouped conversations with unread counts. Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Archive, Spam and Trash folders.
  • Multiple inboxes. Switch between them at the top of the screen (Switch inbox).
  • Organize. Archive, move to inbox, mark as unread and apply labels.
  • Reply and forward. Replies stay in the thread, with attachments shown in the conversation.
  • Drafts. Saved on Resend, so you pick up where you left off on another device.

Labels are yours, created per inbox, and don’t reuse the app’s status colors.

Push and replying from the notification

Turn on inbox.email.received in More › Alerts to get a push when email arrives. With re: Pro, you can reply straight from the notification without opening the app.

During do not disturb, email from VIP addresses still alerts right away.

Without access

Without Inboxes enabled, the tab stays visible with the beta screen. The rest of the app works normally, and inbox.email.received simply never fires.

Resend beta features may change or go away at Resend’s discretion. See the Terms.
